Once a village school and school house, these 19th century traditional island buildings have been converted to 3 high standard self-catering holiday cottages.

This semi-detached, south facing cottage was originally the village school and has now been renovated to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation and offers a perfect base for those wishing to explore this beautiful Scottish island.

No 2 The Schoolhouse with its spectacular views has been fully equipped to a high standard and tastefully presented offering a home from home feel. Relax and enjoy the warmth of the open fire in the comfortable sitting room and look out of the large picture window to the stunning views across the sea to Mull of Kintyre, Ailsa and the lighthouse of Pladda. Surrounded by stunning beauty, The Schoolhouse is within a few hundred metres of the beautiful sandy beach.

The charming seaside village of Kildonan, reached by a loop of little roads, is a popular holiday destination offering an excellent sandy beach, where at low tide the reefs and rock pools provide endless entertainment for children and adults. The beautiful surroundings are home to some of Scotland’s most special wildlife from the magnificent golden eagle, to the striking red deer and the waters are a haven for seals, porpoises, basking sharks and even dolphins.
