The cottage is situated next to the National Trust for Scotland’s site at the Pass of Killiecrankie, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest with its ancient woodland providing a home for many rare species. This area is one of outstanding beauty with plenty of opportunities to walk, fish or golf.
