Situated on a quiet country lane this delightful semi-detached holiday cottage is the mirror image of its neighbour West Newbigging, and both have been renovated to the highest standard with comfort and style in mind. The large open plan living area has a well-equipped kitchen area at one end, a seating area centred on an open fire at the other and a dining area seating up to eight in the centre. From here an open tread staircase leads up to three comfortable bedrooms with fantastic views of the beautiful Angus countryside. The master bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom and the twin room has French doors that allow guests to really enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
This is a fantastic cottage for guests who wish to explore this area of Scotland. Golfers will love the proximity of some of the finest golf courses in the world with the championship course at Carnoustie 40 mins drive away and St Andrews and Gleneagles within an hours drive, whilst walkers can head to the Angus Glens to climb Munros or to the coast line to stroll along sandy bays and cliff tops. Guests who have an interest in history can enjoy a range of attractions locally from pictish stones and iron age earth houses through to the magnificent Scone Palace and Glamis Castle. With all the major Scottish cities within an easy day’s trip, this cottage, with its central location, is an ideal base for touring.
