A true “Farm Cottage holiday” awaits you at Dairy Cottage because it is located on a working farm and the owners are very happy for you to enjoy the farm and its livestock. There are Dexter and Highland cattle, sheep and a marvellous Gloucester Old Spot pig and highland ponies for you to learn about and you may like to search for breakfast eggs that the free range hens have laid for you. This is a wonderful spot for children! As this is a working farm however, children should be supervised at all times.

Dairy cottage is part of the farm courtyard and this delightful cottage has been completely renovated to provide a beautiful modernised self catering cottage with high quality furnishing and finishes. There is a very spacious kitchen/dining room a few steps down from the bright sitting room with its open fire. The single room with its pull out bed provides very comfortable accommodation for two children.

You can happily take advantage of the very pretty main garden as well as the estate itself with its fantastic views across to the Solway Firth and the stunning sunrise and sunset. There is a charming lochan area where a picnic will be a delightful way to pass time. This is a lovely little house and you will be made very welcome at this peaceful and pretty farm. Should you want more to do then visit Gretna Green or take a trip to the beaches of the Solway Firth or its Heritage Trail. Visit Dumfries or the charming town of Moffat nearby or take advantage of the many walks in this delightful area but you can be certain of looking forward to returning to the romantic Dairy Cottage with its welcoming open fire.

Oil fired central heating. TV and DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher. Electric hob and oven. Microwave. Complimentary fishing is available with a bag limit of 2 for the week and barbless hooks must be used.
