Woodland walks around the property lead to an old Pictish Fort and the Strathmashie area near Laggan is extremely pretty. This is a great holiday house with comfortable accommodation and an atmospheric open fire centrally located with a long list of activities including pony trekking, fishing and golf available near by.

Activities: Centrally situated, with Fort William and Ben Nevis to the west and Aviemore and the Cairngorms to the east, Strathmashie has ready access to many countryside pursuits including fishing, golf, pony trekking, mountain biking, ski-ing and bird watching. There are whisky trails to follow, with museums, castles and nature reserves to visit and the pleasure of returning to a traditional, stone built cottage with a farm house style kitchen and Aga set in a cobbled courtyard adjacent to Strathmashie House.
