Lamlash is about 4 miles south of Brodick, situated on a large sheltered bay overlooking Holy island. Lamlash is well provided with a small supermarket, Post office, several pubs, a butcher and crafts. It also has a friendly church and a hospital. The village also has tennis courts, bowling and putting greens and Lamlash Golf Club is less than a mile from the house, welcoming guests for both meals and golf. There is a busy marina where the Holy Island ferry operates from during the summer months and fishing trips are available.
Tigh na Traigh is a modern detached villa on the shore of Lamlash Bay with uninterrupted views of the Holy Isle and beyond. Equipped to a high standard with modern kitchen, laundry room, en-suite in the main bedroom, separate family bathroom and a ground floor shower room too. The property has a large enclosed garden, off-road parking and a recently built deck that provides a spectacular vantage point. Carefully furnished and decorated throughout with the emphasis on comfort. Total Control electric heating throughout. Seals frequent the shore in front of the property and herons, cormorants and turkey buzzards are often seen. Occasionally you may see basking sharks and porpoise in the bay. In the warmer months there is a steady stream of yachts and power boats making their way to and from their moorings in the bay.
