Rowanbank is a delightful, self catering, white painted old Arran cottage. Set in the tranquil, rural west coast of the island it boasts superb countryside views, while still only being only 2 miles to the nearest 9 hole golf course, providing hours of entertainment.

Arran is a beautiful island with stunning countryside and a wide range of activities to offer. Rowanbank, provides a comfortable and relaxing base to explore all the charms of this lovely island. Situated at Machrie, with spectacular scenery across the Kilbrannan Sound to Kintyre, Rowanbank, is in a prime location, and is only a few minutes walk to the sea. Recently renovated, the cottage has comfortable and ergonomic interiors with wonderful views across the sea. Entered by a large south facing porch with plenty of room for two to three people to sit, this provides a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening.  From here we enter the hall/dining room with fireplace and door to the charming garden. Parking is plentiful and a local bus service runs to Blackwaterfoot from the nearby country road providing easy access to local shops and other facilities for those who wish to explore.

There is a fully fitted kitchen adjacent to the hall/dining room with equipment including sink, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric mixer to cater for your culinary needs. Next to the kitchen is the utility room, with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer and cloakroom. Although one end of this long house is close to the road, the house has fine countryside views. Rowanbank is a great, welcoming, charming self catering Scottish cottage, with lots to offer.
