- There are many interesting walks from the cottage door and Pitlochry is on the national cycle route.
- Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the town has an interesting selection of shops and restaurants as well as the world renowned Festival Theatre.
- Being centrally placed, Pitlochry is accessible for most centres with Edinburgh, St Andrews, Glencoe, Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms all suitable for day trips.
- An excellent base for a relaxing holiday, with the opportunity to golf, fish, bowl or play tennis.
