Surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of the stunning Perthshire countryside, this charming late Victorian cottage, with its large secluded and pretty garden, is a delightful retreat from the stresses and strains of everyday life.  With views of the hills from every window, the cottage has been tastefully furnished to provide comfortable holiday accommodation.  A sitting room with open fire is perfect for relaxing in the evening and the traditionally furnished dining room is a great setting for both formal and informal meals.  The small kitchen is well equipped, and two bright bedrooms upstairs with cosy combed ceilings have the perfect views to wake up to.

This area of Perthshire within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, is a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty, and as such has been a popular holiday destination since Victorian times.  With scenery ranging from wild and rugged mountains to the fertile strath of the Tay valley, there is truly something for everyone.  Sportsmen can conquer some of the 50 Munros within an hour’s drive, or perhaps a round of golf on St Fillans scenic 9 hole course, or further afield to the 50 golf courses within a 2 hours drive including Gleneagles only 30 minutes away. Watersports on Loch Earn include sailing, windsurfing and canoeing, and lucky guests may well be able to spot an Osprey fishing alongside them.  For those wishing to take it easy there are lots of retail opportunities, historic properties or low level strolls to enjoy, or simply relax in the this cottage’s south facing garden and enjoy the sun, scenery and peace and quiet.

There is a cabin with additional accommodation for 2 people if required. The cabin has its own wc and sun room. This is available by arrangement only and at an extra cost.
