Situated on the edge of Strontian village on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, this privately owned Scandinavian whole log lodge has beautiful views overlooking Loch Sunart and the mountains beyond. Sanday is one of a number of lodges spread across 12 acres and is surrounded by its own private informal garden and woodland giving you considerable seclusion. The traditional log interior gives a cosy and rustic feeling providing an atmosphere of peace and relaxation.
This house is in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland and the views all around are simply breathtaking. It is an ideal base for the keen walker, tourer or a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
14 miles from the Corran Ferry, Strontian village was once the 18th century home to the local lead miners and is only a short walk away. This thriving village has much to offer with a post office, shop, tea room/crafts, hotel, petrol, and a Tourist Information.

Activities:
Sanday is perfectly located for touring the Western Highlands and Islands. With Fort William within easy reach and Mull accessible by the Lochaline to Fishnish ferry only 18 miles away. For the adventurous, there are many day trips including Glen Nevis and Glen Coe, the famous Jacobite steam train (“Hogwarts Express” from the Harry Potter Films), Oban, Rannoch Moor or even Whale and Dolphin watching. Fishing and sailing are also available locally. Alternatively you can relax, sit in one of the comfortable chairs and soak up the superb view from the large picture window.
