With its own entrance and surrounded by 40 acres of beautiful private grounds and shoreline, Inverinan Mor Cottage has been newly renovated creating a delightful, fully contained holiday cottage.
The cosy sitting room with its open fire, together with the well furnished bedrooms, luxury bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen make this an excellent base for an idyllic holiday and a chance to discover your own highland retreat overlooking one of Scotland’s most beautiful freshwater lochs.
The large surrounding garden, grounds and woodland create many magical play areas for children and adults to enjoy and a romantic stroll will take you down to the shoreline where you can launch a boat, swim or just sit and relax. Deer are often seen grazing near to the house and this naturally beautiful area is also home to a large variety of wonderful birds, butterflies and wildlife.

Activities:
- Guests have full use of the lovely garden and surrounding grounds and the privately owned jetty is ideal for those who wish to bring their own boat.
- There are numerous beautiful walks and picnic spots within easy reach of the house as well as excellent cycling on both forest and quiet single track roads.
- This is paradise for the keen birdwatcher with many species of birds including hawks, buzzards, eagles and the local Ospreys. This lovely area is also home to amazing wildlife such as red squirrels, otters, pine marten and badgers.
- Loch Awe is well known for its excellent wild trout and pike fishing and Ben Cruachan, the local Munro, attracts the keen climber or you can even venture inside this great mountain and experience the astounding engineering work created by the hydro-power station.
- Locally, there are many excellent day trips for all the family to enjoy including Inverawe Smokeries & Country Park near Taynuilt, the historic Kilmartin Glen & Museum, The Scottish Sealife Sanctuary, many beautiful gardens, several golf courses, glorious beaches and historic castles. Oban, known as “ Gateway to the Isles” has regular ferries to Mull and the island.

- Oban (24 miles) – full range of shops, restaurants, cinema, 18-hole golf course, riding stables, sports leisure complex and many excellent day trips to Mull, Iona and inner Hebridean islands.
