Dalmigavie Lodge near Tomatin in the Highlands of Scotland is a prime example of a large holiday house. Set in a secluded location up the Findhorn valley it has lovely views over the River Findhorn (on which salmon fishing may be possible) it is an idyllic spot for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle. Recently redecorated, this delightful traditional lodge is very comfortable and provides delightful accommodation to enjoy with family and friends alike. With an Aga in the kitchen, open fires as well as a wood burning stove, the property is inviting and a delight to return to after a day out. Some of the public rooms also benefit from bay windows from which you will be able to take full advantage of the wonderful view.
Although this house is situated in the country there are numerous opportunities for other activities with Inverness in easy reach as well as the wonderful beaches along the Moray coast where you might be lucky enough to see the famous dolphins. The nearby distillery at Tomatin producing the local ‘tipple’ is interesting and enjoyable.
