Whiting bay is a delightful village, situated on the beautiful Isle of Arran, well provided with two grocery stores and a gift shop that sells local arts and crafts. For those evenings where one just can’t face cooking, Whiting bay provides various eating establishments, and a few hotels which serve non residents. The village also provides entertainment in the form of bowling and a putting green, as well as a golf course. The Brodick to Ardrossan ferry terminal and bus station are approximately 8miles away, so day trips to explore other parts of this lovely island are possible.
Runrig is a comfortable modern bungalow with wonderful sea views from its elevated position. Approximately a five minute walk from the beach, shops, and its central location makes it an appealing self catering cottage.
