Cambusavie Farmhouse is set on a working farm on the Cambusmore Estate and is a delightful traditional farmhouse with plenty of space for larger families or groups. The house is a bright character home, surrounded by fields and there is a path down to the seashore. Inside the traditional feel is emphasised with open fires, combed ceilings and original features and throughout the house is light, bright and fresh. The sitting room with its lovely open fire is the perfect spot to relax at the end of a day exploring. The enclosed garden is a perfect place for smaller children to play safely.
The area offers a multitude of activities with nearby hillwalking or Munros for the most energetic, to the quiet pleasures of the wildlife on the estate and Nature reserve, birdwatching for the ospreys and Hen Harriers that nest here or day trips to the dramatic Caithness coast or Dunrobin Castle. Most of all though you can take time to enjoy this lovely estate with its stunning views and walks and perhaps try some fly fishing for tout that is available on the lochs or even try for a salmon on the river by arrangement with the estate.
