With the River Druie trundling past the bottom of the garden, guests can watch red squirrels, greater spotted woodpeckers, possible the elusive pine martin through the French doors of the main living area or even from the fireside of the upstairs drawing room. Alternatively cast a fly over the water for trout whilst onlookers can relax with a glass of wine on the extensive decking area. This house is ideal for groups of family or friends getting together to enjoy each others company, with three separate sitting rooms all with Sky TV and open log fires, an open plan living area with top of range fully equipped kitchen, and five bedrooms, all ensuite, providing a sumptuous retreat after a busy day sight seeing. Enjoy a sauna or a long soak in a whirlpool bath while the children make use of the games room. Furnished to the highest standard, the use of glass, wood and light décor combined with a comfortable and relaxed feel make this a fantastic holiday house to be enjoyed by all.
This area of the Scottish Highlands has lots to offer the holiday maker. Surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Cairngorm National Park, sports enthusiast can enjoy skiing, with the slopes only 10 minutes away, or can choose from the 49 Munros within the Cairngorm range. There are extensive mountain bike routes within the area to suit all capabilities, and many water sports on offer including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and rafting. For the less energetic there are distilleries to visit, beautiful strolls through the ancient Caledonian pine forests or perhaps a round of golf. With world class salmon fishing on the River Spey, and many local lochs offering the chance of trout or char the anglers will also love the area.
