St Mary’s House is a lovely Georgian holiday home with a real period feel and beautiful gardens located just above the wonderful Duns Castle Lake. The house is full of character with original diamond-leaded windows and numerous other original features. There is plenty of public area with two sitting rooms (one with living flame gas fire) and a separate dining room and all bedrooms have their own wash hand basin so this is an excellent holiday home for the larger party.
Outside there is a beautifully planted mature garden which is enclosed and lovely views all around. Have a walk by the lake and see the numerous bird species or wander through the beautiful woodland walks and you may come across some roe deer. This is an enchanting spot.

Linen provided, not towels. Towels can be hired at £3 per person. Heating and electricity included during summer months. During Oct - May there is a charge payable to the owner of £75/week for fuel/electricity.
