With a golf course 0.5 miles away and the championship course at Carnoustie 0.5 hours drive, this is a great area for golf, not to mention the wonderful beaches and glens, and many historic properties in the area.

First Floor 2 large double bedrooms both with king sized beds and views over garden, 1 smaller double with views over garden, 3 twin rooms (2 with views over the garden and one with windows across to the river). 2 bathrooms with whb, bath and hand shower. One shower room, 3 separate wc’s.
Activities: Angus has 17 golf courses including Carnoustie, all within easy reach. Edzell golf course less than half a mile away and Brechin only 3 miles. There are wide sandy beaches, many small bays and harbours. Angus has 50 miles of coastline which are great for beach combing or watersports. Field sports include archery and clay pigeon shooting. Pathhead Farm offers horse riding & pony trekking. Enjoy miles of glorious landscape and quiet roads and track for cycling. With Corrie Fee, Glen Clova and much more Angus offers excellent climbing. Being at the foot of the Angus glens makes Priestoun ideal for walking holiday – Angus has an annual walking festival. Priestoun is surrounded by a variety of wildlife such as red squirrels, deer, stoats, foxes, pheasants, kingfishers and otters. The area offers challenging and satisfying angling rivers and lochs, and on the sea and from the shore with Edzell close to the North Esk renowned for salmon fishing. Guests can fish in the West Water River from the river banks which borders the gardens of Priestoun. Visit some of the many famous houses and castles in the area which include the House of Dun, Edzell Castle and Glamis the former home of the late Queen Mother.
