Activities:
- The Angus glens of Prosen, Clova and Esk offer excellent walking and wildlife opportunities and the town of Kirriemuir (5 miles) the birthplace of James Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, has quaint narrow streets and interesting shops.
- Salmon and trout fishing can be arranged locally, there are many golf courses within half an hour's drive and the east coast towns of Montrose, Arbroath and Carnoustie are within easy reach.
- There is a popular local Inn serving meals.
