This bright and sunny south facing semi-detached holiday cottage was once the village school and has now been converted to provide attractive accommodation for up to 10 people in four bedrooms. No 1 The Schoolhouse is fully equipped and well presented with spectacular views to Mull of Kintyre, Ailsa and the lighthouse of Pladda.

Located very close to the shore where there is a lovely sandy beach, The Schoolhouse is comfortable and well furnished with a warm and friendly open plan living area which has an open fire creating warmth and atmosphere throughout the year. This holiday cottage is perfectly situated to explore the many delights that the Isle of Arran has to offer.

The charming seaside village of Kildonan, reached by a loop of little roads, is a popular holiday destination offering an excellent sandy beach, where at low tide the reefs and rock pools provide endless entertainment for children and adults. The beautiful surroundings are home to some of Scotland’s most special wildlife from the magnificent golden eagle, to the striking red deer and the waters are a haven for seals, porpoises, basking sharks and even dolphins.

This property is suitable for assisted wheelchair access (wheelchair access to ground floor bedroom and ensuite shower room).
