As you drive down the long tree lined drive to the house you know you are in for something special and you will not be disappointed because Kilmaronock House is a gem of a house built during the Arts and Crafts era and retaining enormous character and a real sense of luxurious country house living. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are ensuite and the fourth has its own private bathroom and all exceptionally comfortable.  The master bedroom has a double height ceiling, its own mezzanine sitting room (with sofa bed) and en suite bathroom ensuring a delightful stay in this lovely house. The kitchen is a very spacious modern space with granite worktops and painted units. A large sitting room with open fire is ideal for socialising at the end of the day. The hallway with its wood finish, beams and full height leaded windows is an architectural delight.

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are famed for their beauty and the National Park offers a wealth of activities to choose from with golf, boating, hill walking, trekking and bike trails all available locally. The city of Glasgow is under an hour away with excellent facilities and shopping. The famous Loch Lomond Golf course is less than ½ hour’s drive. The owner has an association with the wonderful Carrick Spa at Loch Lomond so you can have a day of pampering in luxury at reduced rates.

There are beautiful rural views all around the house and the garden has the romantic ruins of 14th century Mains Castle in the grounds as well as large lawns, rose garden and wooded walks. Fishing on the River Endrick, accessed across the field from the garden, may be available by arrangement with the owner.
