This stunning Atlantic beach, with views across to Arran and warmed by the Gulf Stream, has over a mile of beautiful white sand and is surrounded by rock pools and open countryside offering everyone hours of fun and freedom.

Activities:
Kilbride Bay and large sandy beach is an enjoyable and easy 20 minute walk down a track from the house.
Tighnabruaich and the local area has a great deal to offer with a 9 hole golf course, tennis court, sailing school, canoeing, scuba diving, beaches, angling, and endless wonderful walks and cycle routes.
A short ferry trip from Portavadie will take you over to the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert, renowned for its wonderful seafood and the stunning coast line of the Kintyre Peninsula.
The magical Isle of Bute is also only a short ferry trip away – with many places of interest including Rothesay and its ruined castle, the wondrous gothic structure of Mount Stuart House, the award winning Victorian Toilets and Ascog Hall Fernery & Gardens.
The historic town of Inveraray set on the shores of Loch Fyne (45 miles) has many attractions including Inveraray Castle (home to the Duke of Argyll), Inveraray Jail, The Maritime Museum and The Bell tower
The road north from Tighnabruaich is one of the most beautiful in Argyll with its wonderful viewpoint looking over the Kyles of Bute.
