The cottage is warm and comfortable - lots of wood for the wood burner. The A894 allows for quick access north and south. The tidal bay across the road is good for birds. There's another cottage right next door, which was no problem at all but you wouldn't have known from the pics. Washing machine and dryer were useful. You wouldn't say the cottageRead more was stylish but it was comfortable and we thought it was good value - the garden would be good for kids to play in and was fine for our dog. Hide

The cottage was in an ideal location for exploring north to Durness, and south of the NW coastline to Lohinver, and the surrounding scenery of the cottage was amazing. The cottage itself was clean, tidy and well presented, and everything was as it should be, and the cottage had all that was needed for a enjoyable stay. We stayed for a week with thrRead moreee young children, and they loved it. The garden area was safe and secure, and they loved going over to the loch with their wellies for a paddle! Hide
