Ardmarnoch is a beautiful coastal estate, with views over hills, lochs and land. Less than 2 hours drive from Glasgow. The two houses are part of the 800 acre estate. All have stunning views out to Loch Fyne, with three miles of coastline and private bays.

Guests may visit the Arboretum, stroll through the native oak woods, admire the view from the bay, visit the Iron Age Fort and the Neolithic burial chamber. Abundant wildlife. Over 110 varieties of birds. Seals, otters, deer and much more. Games room with full size snooker table.

Bucks House sleeps 4 and Dovecote House may be booked together to accommodate larger parties, giving a total capacity of 12.

The entrance to Bucks House is reached through an old stone arch in a lovely cobbled courtyard. This charming holiday cottage is attached to the larger Dovecote House and has been refurbished to offer cosy and comfortable accommodation.

After an exhilarating day out and about in this beautiful area of Scotland you can return home, put your feet up and relax in the charming sitting room and enjoy a cosy evening in front of the open log fire. The spacious and extremely well equipped modern kitchen and dining area has lovely stone flagged floors and the view from the upstairs double bedroom out over the garden to Loch Fyne is glorious.

House was great. Very clean and tidy. Lovely walks down to the loch.would definitely go again. I took my 6 and 3year old. They had a fabulous time.Morven was very welcoming and helpful

A great location so long as you enjoy being remote !... lovely gardens and scenery however the drive way is a nightmare. We would not have chosen this accommodation had we realised that the driveway was really only suitable for 4x4 transport unfortunately due to this we chose to go home early. The cottage is set in a beautiful 800 acre estate but to access it the driveway is 2 miles of unmade track. On reaching the road you are also 7-8 miles from anywhere so cannot walk.
Owners Response: "Ardmarnoch is indeed a stunning location, situated down a single track road of 1.5mls. This driveway is at all times passable, and suitable for all vehicles driven with care, and is maintained two to three times per year. We have low profiled tyred sports car here which we manage in and out of premises quite well with care and no mishaps, I myself, gave the people a lift to the local garage to pick up their low profile BMW. My understanding was that the damaged tyre had happened nearby at local Portavadie Marina, which is where the local garage recovery vehicle collected BMW from and not the Ardmarnoch track, however that is not to say that initial damage caused didn't start here. It is such a shame to hear they cut short their holiday due to this. We are 7 miles from Kames our nearest village. Along the way there are numerous forest walks including a circular route here at the back of the estate, one can choose to do a few miles or many miles. There is also a fabulous beach at Kilbride Bay, known as Ostell Bay, highly recommended by many. We wish our clients happier mishap free visits to Scotland should they return and wish them well. We hope this experience will not deter them from visiting elsewhere in Scotland."
