Cottage was clean and fairly comfortable, Couches in sitting room were not particularly comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well equipped, but there was a rather unpleasant odour in the fridge compartment. There was an insufficient supply of towels with only 1 hand towel for 2people, and 1 bath towel each for a whole week. Overall, the cottage was fRead moreine, and we enjoyed our time there. Hide

Well, it was hard work leaving on Saturday morning. We had a lovely chilled time, very relaxed and yet we were out and about doing something every day. Weather wasn't great, however it doesn't stop folk being out and about and there are shops, restaurants, drives, walks, activities to do if you so wish. Love love love. Arran golive it a go.

Hillshore is spacious property in good central location with good views over Brodick sea front & mountains of Arran. Property clean, modern kitchen appliances, un-cluttered decor. Our main negative was the V poor shower - very low water flow so more of a dribble and not warming after a day on hills even in summer. Some of beds also poor with uncomfRead moreortable springs. Great views out front, but no views from kitchen table. It is possible to use available tray tables to eat in lounge but not ideal. Hide

Lovely cottage in the heart of Brodick, 5 minutes' walk from the ferry terminal and close to all local amenities (which have improved a lot in recent years). Three very nice bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. We've stayed here as a group twice, would definitely recommend.

Great location. Plenty space . Especially for Grandkids. Loved the bunk beds. Unfortunately had to put to one side, some cushions while we were there. Stains and sweat marks on them. Ceiling in kitchen had large cracks above food prep area. Chose to prepare food at sink area. Garden really needs some serious TLC. Moss on all steps made it dangerousRead more to let kids out to garden. Hide
