Short breaks in Scotland

People are really beginning to jazz up their social calendars by planning trips here and there, with this group and that, and it’s becoming more and more popular to go away for a few short breaks every year, in some cases replacing the two week long retreat. The idea of two weeks in the same place may be too long for some, so we suggest the Short Break Holiday!

Travel to your destination on a Thursday night and give yourself two or three full days to wind down. Have long morning lie in’s with breakfast in bed, take easy strolls outside breathing in the freshest of Scottish air, sink into local life and sample the unique tastes of the area: the local ale, the handmade cakes, the butchers specials. Take your bikes and explore the countryside, look the walking boots out for a challenging climb, or take the binoculars for some coastal nature spotting. Spend your evenings enjoying the home: relax in warm bubble baths, order a take away or settle down with a good book!

This became a really popular booking pattern in 2014 where we saw a 66% rise in short break bookings, and with a huge selection of properties to explore, which accept bookings ANY day of the week, for anything between 2-6 days, you will be spoilt for choice. This gives you the freedom to be more flexible with your dates, enables spur of the moment decisions and it could not be easier for you to make a booking, both online and offline.
