A lovely property in a great location. Had ancient history on our doorstep & we were very lucky with the weather to explore the area. Loved the four poster bed & the cozy lounge room with window bench to sit & read in. Woken each morning to bird song & cows, fabulous. Would recommend the Kilmartin Hotel just over a mile away on foot. Good beer, amaRead morezing food (HUGE portions) & really friendly staff. Crinan Canal & Oban are a must for days out. Seafood in Oban was out of this world. Hide

Nice location for exploring a really interesting part of Scotland. Standing stones and a chambered cairn just a few hundred yards up the road. Ancient cup and ring markings on rocks a short drive away. Stunning scenery, lots of wildlife, castles. Plenty to do!

Very comfortable and pleasant property for a holiday. The cottage is roomy but cosy. A lovely spot to stay and ideal for those interested in history and archaeology. Plenty of lovely places to walk and learn about the environment.

A lovely cottage in a fantastic location: lots of interesting things to see and places to walk nearby. We had a very comfortable week, with lots of space within the house and its garden. The only negative is that the kitchen is not a "cook's kitchen", although very well equipped there is not much storage for groceries or in the fridge and the hob iRead mores slow to warm up. Hide
