This apartment is lovely and in a really good location. Interesting views and very accessible by tram. Restaurants on the Shore and Aldi on Commercial Street are easy walking distance. A nice flat, spoiled by unfixed faults. Bed in bedroom with en-suite needs repair/replacement. Main oven does not work and other smaller maintenance issues. Guest book shows these faults were described by previous tenants but had not been fixed. The apartment is clean, spacious, has secure parking, and is in an excellent location. Leith is a lovely place to stay, only a few easy tram stops into central Edinburgh. We knew this location as have stayed in the vicinity on numerous occasions. It is quiet and transport links are good. One can in any case walk to pubs or restaurants and shops. The flat is comfortable and not expensive given the inflated market of now.

Ocean View is a perfect base for exploring Edinburgh and it's surrounds without a car. The tram stops two minutes away and public transport is easy. We got out to The Kelpies by train and South Queensferry for a boat trip very easily. Day trip to Glasgow too. Local Sainsbury's and plenty of eateries nearby too.
