A single-storey cottage, follow the corridor and make way your way to the lounge-come-kitchen. Equipped with all you could need for your daily routine, kick start your mornings with a fresh brew from the coffee machine and wind down in the evening by the wood burner with bellies full of home-cooked goodness.

When day turns into night, you will be able to reach the bedrooms from the hallway. The extra comfortable master bedroom is the perfect base for grown-ups, while children won’t be able to resist running off to the mezzanine twin bedroom, complete with its own PlayStation games console! To complete the picture, the family bathroom boasts underfloor heating and a rainfall shower.

Make use of the secure bike storage, and come and go as you please. While the cottage doesn’t have its own garden, there is more than enough space nearby to stretch your legs.

If you are a golf fan, West Linton Golf Club is a mile from the property and has an 18-hole, par 69 moorland golf course that offers a fun challenge to golfers of all abilities. Polish your swing before rounding off the day with a drink in the local pub (less than 0.5 miles away).

Outside of the village, there is ample to see and do. Get your legs pumping with a hike through the Pentland Hills and along the old Roman road, taking in the beautiful sights as you go. For keen biking enthusiasts, the world-famous Glentress Forest in the Tweed Valley is a mountain biking heaven. Drive the 17.5 miles and enjoy a day spinning along on two wheels. For something completely different, Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, is only 18 miles away and awash with activities and attractions.
