Perfect for a long weekend away, this central Edinburgh apartment is ideally set out for exploring this historically rich city. Relax at home and enjoy views of the city on the Juliette balcony, or wander the 2-mile walk into the city’s West End to dine out and enjoy evening drinks. Sleeping four, the home is perfectly suited to two couples or a small family.

This contemporary apartment offers a neutral colour scheme and a welcoming atmosphere, a space in which to feel instantly at home. Its position on the third floor ensures remarkable views over this stunning city, and wide French doors in the lounge create a bright and airy atmosphere.

Head on up to the third floor via a staircase and find the spacious apartment set out on one level. The heart of the house is an open-plan lounge and dining room with Juliette balcony overlooking the city. Settle down and watch a family film or dine together with the French doors wide open. Meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, stylishly decked out with retro 80’s style kitchen cabinets. When it’s time for bed, you can settle into two comfortable bedrooms, one king-size master and one cosy twin. Both of these bedrooms have large windows which create a bright and airy space to wake up to each morning, and the master room has an abundance of room to store clothes throughout your stay. The entire family shares a cheerful family bathroom with a shower over bath.

Being a third-floor apartment, outdoor space is limited, however, you can rest assured that you won’t be stuck for a car parking space on arrival.

As Scotland's capital city, there's no doubt that you'll find plenty to do in this area. The city boasts plenty of tourist attractions for guests of all ages, including the Scottish National Gallery (1 mile), Edinburgh Zoo (2 miles) or the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens (2 miles). The city of Edinburgh sits in the shadow of its impressive 12th-century castle, accessible within a short 2-mile walk from your doorstep.

Despite being a city break, you can still enjoy plenty of sports throughout your stay. The city is peppered with plenty of golf courses to use, including one just 1 mile from home. If you've come to Scotland to enjoy Rugby, then you'll find the BT Murrayfield Stadium just 1.5 miles away. There's also a pretty nature reserve at Ravelston Woods (0.5 miles) where you can play ball games and get a breath of fresh air.

If water sports and unwinding on the beach is more your thing, then you'll be happy to find one beach just 3 miles and another busier beach just 6 miles. Both offer sandy shores and the cold, bracing waters of the North Sea. Head to Cramond Beach (3 miles), where at low tide you can walk over to the charming Cramond Island. When back on the mainland, be sure to pop into the lovely local pub just moments from the beach.

The apartment was in a great location to visit the centre of Edinburgh as it was on the bus route and a short distance away. Location was also great for day drives from the city without having to drive through all the traffic. The unit was clean and tidy with all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again and would also recommend to Read morefriends. The host was amazing, as she contacted us several times before our visit to ensure we were happy with the check in procedures. Hide

Very comfortable apartment, bus stop very close to get into the city as too far to walk. Everything needed was thought of, would highly recommend.
