This stunning detached house overlooking the Moray Firth near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands is the perfect property for friends or families to relax together in style. Lovingly refurbished with contemporary décor, the house is light and airy throughout with beautiful views of the Moray Firth across to Kessock Bridge and the Black Isle. With private access on to the beach, you’ll have front row seats to watch the resident seals playing and relaxing in their natural habitat. You may even be lucky enough to see the pod of bottlenose dolphins that have made this their home – it’s one of the best places in Europe to see these delightful creatures. Despite the tranquillity and feeling of isolation here, you are only 2 miles from the historic, estate village of Culloden and 3.5 miles from the Scottish Highlands’ capital, Inverness, which has all the benefits of a city, but with a more relaxed approach to life. After a busy day exploring, this property has the advantage of its own BBQ hut and a private Hydrotherapy hot tub, which offers the best place to watch the spectacular sunsets on a clear evening.

Situated on a large plot on the banks of the Inverness Firth, this property boasts plenty of space. Its beach-hut style exterior reflects the coastal location and instantly creates the sense of somewhere to relax and soak up the surroundings. On entering the property, you’ll find yourself in a spacioud king-size bedroom with a double sofa bed and TV. Also off the hallway is the stylish bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and separate shower. Next to this is the handy utility room, which is somewhere to store and wash wet weather gear. The large, bright, well-equipped kitchen/dining room has been beautifully designed and is completed by amazing views.

A few steps lead down to the main lounge which has a contemporary wood burner for those chilly, Scottish evenings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the panoramic sea views. French doors lead out to the garden.

Back through the hallway are four more bedrooms: two king-size, one double and one quirky bunk-bed room. All the bedrooms have their own style and have been finished to a high standard to create somewhere calm and relaxing to rest at the end of a busy day. These two king-size rooms have TVs and stylish en-suite shower rooms for an added sense of luxury.

Outside, tucked in the corner of the spacious lawn there is a stunning, circular BBQ hut and a Hydrotherapy hot tub, making this property even more special. From here, you can also access the beach.

  • 5 bedrooms – 3 king-size, 1 double, 1 bunk bedroom
  • 1 bathroom and 2 en-suite shower rooms
  • Electric range oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer
  • Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
  • Private Hydrotherapy hot tub
  • Wood burner (logs included)
  • Ample off-road parking
  • Pubs, shops, restaurants within walking distance
  • Charcoal BBQ available
  • TV in lounge, second lounge and all 5 bedrooms
  • Sleeps 10+2 - double sofa bed in the lounge
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

This property's location has the best of both worlds: the historical and cultural attractions of a city and the unbeatable natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands, with its range of outdoor activities. The village of Culloden itself is famous for its Battlefield where the Jacobite Rising came to a brutal end in 1745. Now a National Trust attraction, you can find out all about its history. 10 miles away, you can also visit Fort George which was George II's answer to the Jacobite unrest in the form of possibly the mightiest artillery fortification in Europe.

Nearby Inverness is popular because of its cathedral, castle, market, shops and eateries within its compact city centre. Although busy compared to the surrounding countryside, it has a more laid back feel than cities elsewhere.

To the north, Nairn Beach (14 miles) offers miles of golden sand to play in, walk on or admire from the promenade. If you fancy yourself as a myth-buster, head to world famous Loch Ness (17.5 miles) to see if you can catch a glimpse of the supposed monster. To the west of Inverness is the bustling village and beautiful river of Beauly (16 miles), which is a great spot for gentle strolls around the upmarket shops and eateries or some salmon fishing. It is also a popular base for outdoor enthusiasts with some stunning glens and mountains close by including Glen Affric. Whether it's hiking, climbing or cycling, there'll be a route for you to explore.

Fantastic week at a wonderful house. Can thoroughly recommend. Lots of room for the 8 of us. Location by the Firth was great. Plenty room on the sweeping lawn for the children to play. Made great use of the hot tub. Barbecue pit would be great in winter but not too good on a warm summers day. Maybe a barbecue on the patio in summer? We had a lovely stay at Pebble Beach for a family 70th Birthday weekend getaway. Very spacious, photos dont show how spacious it actually is & has everything you need.
