This stylish property set in a secluded, rural location offers a luxurious retreat for a couple close to the charming town of Biggar. With a beautiful decked area outside, complete with firepit and swing seat, it is a gorgeously romantic spot.

Inside, this single-storey, contemporary cottage is beautifully light and airy, with lovely views through the floor-to-ceiling windows that allow the light to flood in. The exposed timber beams and wooden flooring add character, and the whole property is finished to an extremely high standard.

A couple of steps up onto the decking brings you to the entrance. The immaculate country-style kitchen/diner is elegantly fitted and well-equipped with everything you might need. The adjacent dining table for two is next to the window so you can enjoy the beautiful views as you sit down to eat. From the kitchen, wander through into the lounge area and relax on the large comfortable sofa. On chilly evenings, fire up the wood burner and snuggle up together in front of a film. The cosy king size bedroom, with its soft, luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, is just a few steps away. In the morning, awaken the senses with a hot shower in the bright, fresh en-suite, complete with hand basin and WC.

Stroll outside in the morning with a coffee and breathe in the fresh clean air as you admire the swathes of rolling green countryside around you. In the evening, the deck is the perfect spot for a glass of something chilled by the warmth of the firepit.
