This delightful farmhouse lies within the Conruanan Estate and has one of the most stunning backdrops you are likely to see in the Scottish Highlands. Nestled in the foothills of the almighty Ben Nevis, this private and remote location offers everything that the Highlands promise and more. Only three miles from the famous town of Fort William, you have the best of both worlds during your stay here.

The house is one of two farmhouses set one mile apart from each other, buried deep within a beautiful, private estate offering complete seclusion. The house really does make a wonderfully peaceful hideaway for family and friends to retreat to. This traditional Highland home offers absolutely magical views over Ben Nevis, the surrounding hills and Loch Linnhe. Here the beautiful Highland wilderness is literally right on your doorstep.

This spacious and comfortable farmhouse is situated over two floors and designed for those who enjoy the outdoors. With lots of space for muddy boots and two drying cupboards, you definitely won’t need to worry about the weather! There is a large kitchen/dining room which for a Highland home, is the heart and soul of the house. The traditional sitting room is decorated with soft, warm furnishings along with a feature fireplace and an open fire. One of the twin bedrooms and the shower room also lie on this floor. Upstairs we have the further two twin bedrooms both with en-suites.

Free to roam the landscape around you, outside the farmhouse offers endless opportunities to explore. The enclosed garden with seating has dramatic panoramic views over some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland. Surrounded by mountains and lochs, you will be able to watch the sun set over the very heart of the Highlands.

  • Please note – electric charging facilities are not available at this property. The closest charging point is near the Corran Ferry – Inchree and Fort William, both a short drive away.
  • Please note that the house is up a very steep drive that can be difficult when icy, icy conditions can also affect the water
  • Shops and pubs 3 miles away
  • Option to book Druimarbin Farmhouse (CA107) along with this property for larger parties!
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Being perfectly located on the edge of Loch Linnhe in the foothills of Ben Nevis, this property provides guests with so many opportunities to see some of the best that Scotland has to offer. Submersed in the Highland wilderness, the farmhouse is the ideal base for those who love the outdoors. With so many walks, trails and viewpoints within walking distance, who needs a car!

The Ben Nevis Distillery at Fort William (3 miles) is one of the oldest in Scotland and if you like your whisky then this makes for a real treat. Take a guided tour of where and how the whisky is produced and then enjoy sampling some of the finest Scottish whiskys to finish the experience. Or sample some of the delicious, traditional homemade delights from the restaurant and coffee shop on-site.

Fort William is a thriving town and often described as the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK'. Surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges, its backdrop alone makes it well worth a visit. Packed with things to see and do, Fort William offers something for everyone. You might be an adrenaline junkie looking to climb your next mountain or perhaps you want to try your hand at mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding or jet skiing. Or you might prefer to just admire the scenery from afar and browse the many shops, eateries, bars and cafes the town has to offer. Either way, Fort William is an unforgettable town to visit for so many reasons.

Absolutely outstanding holiday at this farmhouse! The location was amazing total seclusion with the stags rutting and roaring outside we didnt need leads for the dogs straight out in beautiful surroundings and a view of Ben Nevis. Would love to return and see the the renovation

Our second visit and very much hope to go again next year. Farmhouse is very cosy with walks from the door and Fort William is a good base to explore from.

A great place to stay & explore. It is very quite but not far from town. It's clean, warm, comfy & with a well equipped kitchen. Saw deer on an evening walk & more in the field below on our last morning. We saw Glenfinnan Monument & Viaduct, Eillean Donan, Glencoe Visitor Centre, Dumblodore's Grave, (Potter). We went on the Glen Nevis Goldola and sRead moreome of our party hiked up Ben Nevis. Walked Glen Nevis to Steall falls & a Boat Cruise to see seals .Would really recommend. Stunning area. Hide

The setting and location are fantastic. Set a mile down its very own track the property is situated in a stunning location where you can do your own walks straight from the front door. Local amenities are near by as well. The cottage is comfortable and quaint and has everything you need.

A really nice property on the outskirts of fort William offering loch and Ben Nevis views, get up early for a stunning sunrise! Perfect for dog families, with an enclosed kitchen to keep them in. Really enjoyed the balance between privacy of the property and surrounding estate, with Fort William and Ben Nevis under 10 minutes away. Very relaxing stay, the fenced area around the house allowed our 2 dogs to roam off the lead. Sitting on the garden bench both Loch Linnie and Ben Nevis can be viewed without moving a muscle. The location was perfect. 360 degree views of mountains, including Ben Nevis, plus Loch Linnhie. Well equipped, comfortable, clean, plenty of hot water, great showers, comfortable beds etc Lots to do in the local area. Highly recommended.

An amazing cottage in a wonderful location! Well equipped, warm and comfortable, a real home from home.
