Fabulous mid-terrace stone cottage just half a mile from Lamlash Bay, with front garden views to Holy Isle. It is surrounded by sublime natural beauty, mystical history and fantastic local food.
This pretty mid-terrace stone cottage in the village of Lamlash is a short stroll from the beach less than 0.5 miles away and has fantastic views out over to the Holy Isle from its sunny front garden. The house sleeps three to four, making it ideal for small families who want to enjoy a relaxing beach break or explore Arran and its beautiful coastline and mountains. Lamlash is Arran’s largest village, and a fantastic base on the island. It has a great choice of pubs and restaurants and some independent food and gift shops.
The property is built over two floors. On the semi-open-plan ground floor, there is a cosy living area to the front of the property, with comfortable sofas arranged around a wood burner, which keeps the room warm even on the chilliest of nights. Towards the back is the kitchen/diner. This has a range of contemporary kitchen units and everything you’ll need to whip up hearty breakfasts before you head out to the hills, or warming dinners when you come in from a day on the beach. There is a dining table with space for four to eat in comfort. The family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, leads from the dining space.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one a single and one a twin. Both have lovely views over either countryside or coast. An extra bed can be arranged if needed.
Outside, there is a mature private garden to the front of the property, with garden furniture and sea views.
