This charming, traditional holiday home is perfectly located close to the scenic shores of Loch Linnhe and the magical mountains of Ballachulish, Glencoe and Ben Nevis. Set in a pretty, enclosed garden within a small hamlet on the edge of the friendly village of Onich, it’s just 10 miles from Fort William. The cottage is adjacent to the National Cycle Route 78, The Caledonia Way, and your bikes can go in the lockable bike store when not in use.

Sleeping up to three guests in two delightfully presented bedrooms, this welcoming single-storey cottage is full of character and furnished to a high standard. Great care has been taken to ensure a memorable home-from-home holiday and many thoughtful touches make this property a lovely base to return to and relax in after an active day out and about.

Inside, the spacious living room – with its comfortable seating, dining table and cosy wood burner – is glorious for quiet evenings while the stylish, bright and well-equipped kitchen has a fabulous outlook across a field to the hills beyond. The two comfortable bedrooms – one double and one single – and the family shower room are easily accessible in this single-storey home.

Step outside, where the patio area creates a lovely spot for sitting out in and enjoying summertime drinks and alfresco dining. Further on, the enclosed garden is a tranquil place to enjoy some peace and quiet. There are many beautiful walks to be enjoyed straight from the doorstep.

The cottage's close proximity to the main A82 route main through the West Highlands makes it the ideal base for discovering one of the most romantic areas of Scotland, famous for its spectacular castles, dramatic scenery, mystic glens, rugged coast and abundant wildlife.

Set at the foot of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak, Fort William and Lochaber is known as the outdoor capital of the UK and offers an extensive range of activities to suit all ages. Less than 17 miles away is the popular Nevis Range where you can experience the scenic mountain gondola ride, explore miles of forest track, be challenged by a championship mountain biking track and enjoy excellent winter skiing and snowboarding. Glencoe Mountain Resort is around 19 miles away.

Alternatively, take the Corran Ferry (1.5 miles) to visit the beautiful Ardnamurchan Peninsula and savour the peaceful ancient oak woodland paths, remarkable wildlife and stunning views out to numerous Hebridean islands especially from the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. The busy harbour town of Oban (33 miles), which has a distillery, offers many exciting day trips to various Inner Hebridean islands.

The cottage is tastefully decorated with a fresh, clean calm colour palette & no obvious dirty marks or anything needing repaired . Extremely clean throughout. It was a very cosy and clean cottage. Very good equiped on a good location close te a variaty of hot spots to visit. Next to the a house you can take a very beautiful walk to the water fall. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful holiday at Croft Cottage! Excellent location for touring the Highlands. The cottage is extremely spacious and comfortable for two and would be comfortable for three also. After driving rain on the journey up and back home, we were extremely lucky with the weather for our days out but also enjoyed a couple of evenings in front of Read morethe wood burning stove. Loved watching the sheep in the paddock opposite the kitchen window and the amazing changing views of the mountain. Hide

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. It was fully equipped with everything that we could need and was very comfortable. The location was really good for accessing the Highlands and it was lovely coming home to the cottage at the end of a long day hiking

Fantastic accommodation at the end of Glencoe and close to Fort William. The owners clearly make great efforts in keeping the cottage in excellent order and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Croft Cottage - nice cosy yet spacious house with everything you need. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the sun in the beautifully kept garden. We were initially worried it might be too close from the A82 but this wasnt noisy at all. What a beautiful, comfortable, spotlessley clean, well equipped cottage. I struggle to believe the cottage has been rented for over 20 years, no signs of wear and tear, it is so well cared for and looked after. The cottage is well placed to explore the Scottish Highlands.
