This self-catering holiday property is set in the heart of a quiet yet active Scottish estate. It provides guests with the opportunity to watch varied wildlife, walk to the beach or the local village and stroll along the Applecross River, exploring the delights of Wester Ross.
Comfortably accommodating four people, this home offers an all-round Scottish holiday experience in a beautiful area, as well as the chance to feel part of a Highland Estate environment. Part of the wing of Applecross House, this property is fully self-contained with an internal passage connecting the two houses. This allows the properties to be let individually or as one, in conjunction with Bramble Lodge, to accommodate larger parties up to 12.
On the ground floor, there is a charming sitting room with a wood burner and a dining table in the bay window. It's a homely and spacious room where you can enjoy each other's company and maybe play a board game from the selection under the coffee table. The kitchen is narrow, with plenty of worktop space and well-equipped for creating wholesome meals; there is also an oil-fired Rayburn which also heats the water.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms – a lovely king-size and a twin room – as well as a family bathroom with both a bath and a shower.
