Our group of hillwalkers has used both Fassfern House and Cottage in February for the past 2 years. The place is a delight in all aspects ---particularly the heating in pretty miserable February weather. Cannot recommend the properties highly enough am just about to book again for next year.

An ideal location with huge grounds and lovely river and hill walks from the house, great for groups with dogs. Comfy, cosy cottage, in lovely location. It was clean, and the Claire was so lovely and helpful. The kitchen could do with a bit of a facelift The hot water pressure upstairs means you cannot use the shower, but the water was really hot and we had lovely deep baths after our days out.
