Sit out in your garden and gaze out to sea – or stroll down to the beach from your Isle of Arran holiday home, which sleeps up to five guests. Your inviting property close to Whiting Bay is ideally positioned for long days on the sandy beach, beautiful coastal walks and getting close to nature.

A true Scottish retreat, your traditional holiday home blends character with comfort, including features such as beamed ceilings and a wood burner. Enjoy its homely interior and inviting rooms which have been decorated in subtle cream tones to keep the property bright, airy and welcoming.

Your two-storey home comprises a separate lounge, dining room and kitchen. Set a fire in your wood burner on autumn and winter nights and bask in its warmth after long days out in the island air. Choose a book to read from the selection supplied or perhaps watch a DVD. Shop locally for fresh ingredients and then prepare them in your cottage kitchen. Enjoy your meals together in your dining room or outside at your picnic table in the garden. Your family bathroom is also on the ground floor, together with one of your bedrooms.

Two more of your bedrooms are upstairs. One of these would be ideal for children.

Step outside into the sunshine in your mature gardens, which surround your charming holiday home on three sides. Enjoy the sound of the babbling brook and take in the sweeping coastal vistas from your superb outside space. There is parking for up to three cars at the property.

  • 3 bedrooms – 1 double, 1 twin, and a single room with cot (suitable for children only due to restricted headroom)

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Stroll into the village of Whiting Bay to go to the shops or reserve a table for a meal out. Play golf, visit the art gallery or spend time in the sculpture garden. From here, take a walk along the coast to Kingscross Point where you will find there are fabulous views out to Holy Isle. Walk approximately 1 mile and climb up through a wooded glen to Glenashdale Falls to see a beautiful double cascade. Continue for just over another 0.5 miles to the Giant's Graves, the remains of two Neolithic chambered tombs. The village of Kildonan is approximately 4 miles from your holiday retreat and takes in views towards Ayrshire and the islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig. See the ruins of the 13th-century castle while you are here. Head about 5 miles to Lamlash, where you can shop and pause for coffee and cake or perhaps dine in a friendly café or restaurant; from here you can also catch the ferry across to Holy Isle. Go sailing, fishing or pony-trekking while you are on the Isle of Arran. Book a ride along the beautiful shoreline and look out for seals and even basking sharks in the waters.

Lovely position cottage, very near the beautiful shore line. Generally comfortable and cosy, but in need of furniture and mattress updating. Quirky and unusual layout.

The cottage was perfect for a week away. Very welcoming atmosphere when you first open the door. A fabulous location for us and our dog. Some previous guests had commented on the track being bumpy, but that's exactly what makes the location so perfect and feeling that little bit more 'remote'. Quirky, cosy cottage. Niggles,Tumble drier full of sand, fluff,water, we had to buy a light bulb for the stairs, washer instructions needed. Narrow,steep stairs and step up or down into each downstairs room. bathroom and both WCs downstairs. View of sea is from drive not living room, a bit disappointed with that. The location of this cottage cannot be beaten - its quiet, out of the way with the most beautiful beach right outside. The access road is very potholed but it doesnt detract from the location. Unfortunately, the standard of accommodation does spoil it and does not represent value for money. Whilst the cottage is clean, it is tired with many improveRead morements needed both to the cottage itself and the furnishings/equipment. We had a fantastic time. The cottage was ideal for a family of five and a dog. We didnt have to compromise on anything and the place was well equipped and very comfortable. The location is excellent with direct access to the beach and Whiting Bay just a walk away.

A lovely location and quirky and comfortable. Some of the equipment in the kitchen needs updating. No welcome pack which is unusual and not enough toilet rolls.

We had a lovely stay at Lunna Voe , a well equipped cottage in a lovely location being able to step across from the drive to the beach. The track that goes to the various cottages isn't in the best condition though we felt we could easily overlook this as such a lovely quiet retreat. There is some parking at playing field if you were really bothereRead mored about using frequently. We found was perfect quiet place for us and our dog to enjoy a nice break . Stunning location, sweet, quirky cottage, clean and well presented. Staircase is narrow and steep to the bedrooms upstairs, but our two year old managed them. Dogs loved the direct access to the beach!

A perfect idyllic setting right on the beach and accessed by a short lane so nice and quiet . The ONLY downside was the over grown garden .
