We thought the house was lovely: -spacious- including a big downstairs hall, large dining room and connected kitchen and two living rooms. All the bedrooms were very spacious; -beautiful views both back and front. The sea views from the big living room and upstairs bedrooms were particularly notable. Wonderful to see deer just beyond the garden Read morewith the sea in the background - beautifully furnished in a relaxed way....the chairs and sofas in the living room were particularly comfortable, as was the sofa in the dining room. The paintings especially the sea scapes in the living room were memorable. Having the beach so near and being able to hear the sea from the bedrooms and see sunrise and sunset from the house were magic. All in all it was perfect for a 3 generation holiday and a perfect place to have a lunch party for an extended family. We fell in love with the house and the area with its coastal and woodland walks. Hopefully we will come back some day. Hide

We thoroughly loved this cottage. Our group of nine fit comfortably. Each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom. Beautiful location, you must walk down to beach and walk in the refreshing North Sea. My favorite room was the living room with its view of the sea. Watch the sun rise!

This house has a superb location and owners that obviously think about the little touches and are responsive. It does suffer in the winter from a heating system that guests cannot control and some thought is needed in the smaller bedrooms about general maintenance and how a couple (rather than children) can mange in small spaces. Probably great forRead more two families but a bit of a struggle for eight adults as currently arranged. Hide
