Set right on the bonnie banks of Loch Broom with its own secluded beach and views towards the fishing town of Ullapool, this charming three-storey property has spectacular waterside charms in the North West Highlands of Scotland. Sleeping 12 guests across six bedrooms, the property is perfect for family gatherings and reunions, with ample space for everyone to spread out and relax in this wonderful living space. From here, you can discover the beauty and attractions of the Wester Ross region, right from your doorstep.
The ground floor sitting room is cosy with artwork, and picture-windows of the loch, and leads to the kitchen and dining area (with an open fire), where you’ll be pleased to find two fridges, two freezers and a wine fridge - the perfect arrangement for family celebrations! While the culinary experts rustle up delicious feasts, more leisurely guests can enjoy table tennis in the seated summer room which has a wood burner for dreich days. There’s also a convenient utility room and cloakroom with WC on the ground floor.
Step inside the property at the first floor where bright and airy traditional country-style interiors harmonise with contemporary touches and wall art to create a welcoming and homely ambience. Here you’ll find four of the cosy bedrooms (two are en-suite) decked in gorgeous linens with contemporary country-style tartan accessories, plus a family bathroom.
Two further en-suite bedrooms can be found on the second floor, also with a contemporary country-style feel and splashes of tartan clan designs. Parents will appreciate the children’s playroom which has a TV and space for the travel cot, or this can be set up in one of the bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have waterside views, are beautifully styled and each has been thoughtfully named after a local Ben.
Outside, you’ll find open gardens to the front and rear of the property which is set right on the banks of the loch where guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets and views towards the hills beyond. Look out for land and marine wildlife too; this spectacular region is popular for its otters, seals, and porpoises which can be spotted from the comfort of your holiday home - you may also see rare birds of prey roam these skies, including the Golden Eagle. Private parking is available for guests, while shops, pubs and leisure amenities can be found in nearby Ullapool (1.5 miles), a town planned by the renowned Scottish engineer Thomas Telford.
