This renovated property boasts true luxury here in the Highlands, offering a private hot tub to unwind in and soft beds to sink into after a long day of exploring the Scottish countryside. The spacious rooms and an abundance of space for relaxing ensure a comfortable stay for eight guests, and both the location and layout of the home make it the perfect space for a family or group of friends.

The contemporary home has been finished to the highest standard, maintaining a stylish eye throughout. Opting for modern furnishing instead of the traditional countryside antiques, the home boasts a minimalist style. Clean whites and creams leave the home feeling bright and airy, whilst bright splashes of colour add character and charm.

Look forward to collapsing onto the sofas after a long day of outdoor activities and find the living room the perfect space in which to do so. Deep, cushy sofas provide the perfect spot to put your feet up, and the large Smart TV offers entertainment for the entire family. The room is completed by the delightful wood burner which is set into a charming feature fireplace. Head on through to the spacious dining room, which presents a solid oak table surrounded by stylish grey seats. Grab one of the board games or books and enjoy quality time together. You’ll find the first of four bedrooms here on this ground floor, along with a modern shower room. This is ideal for guests who prefer to avoid going up and down the stairs.

Find the remaining bedrooms on the first floor of the home, where three rooms boast far-reaching views of beautiful surrounding scenery and large windows let light flood in. The king-size master bedroom is a wonderfully spacious room with the added privacy of an en-suite shower room. Completing this floor is a further king-size bedroom and a cosy twin, both with slightly vaulted ceilings that give the room added charm.

When Scotland is blessed with good weather, it’s almost criminal not to enjoy it, and this home makes al fresco entertaining an absolute breeze. Fire up the charcoal BBQ to prepare a feast for your party, making use of the private garden for children  to play. Be sure to pack your swimsuit regardless of the weather, as the garden hot tub is available for your sole use throughout your stay and there’s nothing more warming than a mid-winter dip in a hot tub!

Fabulous stay in a gorgeous location. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing the games provided. There were also lots of interesting places to visit which weren't too far away.

Scotstonhill is an amazing property for a week away in the middle of nowhere. It has all the facilities you could want, including outside plugs for (very slow) car charging and more rooms than you could need. The owners are always on hand should you need them, and had an electrician out within 30 minutes when the power went out due to a storm. Be aRead moreware you'll need a car to go anywhere - there's no shops in walking distance. Apart from that the location is blissfully quiet. Highly recommended. Hide
