Stepping inside this fabulous property, you will appreciate the overriding feeling of space. Light floods through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bouncing off the neutral walls and enhancing the natural materials on show. Odd touches of colour and sumptuous fabrics add to the feeling of luxury, as does the eco-friendly underfloor heating. On the ground floor, you’ll leave the carport into the hallway with its handy storage. Moving past the wet room and jukebox, you’ll come to the beautiful bespoke kitchen with all the mod-cons. The star of the show is the glass-fronted lounge, where guests will love relaxing at any time of day.

Upstairs, there’s a magnificent super king-size bedroom with its own balcony; a bathroom with a roll-top bath; and a king-size bedroom with wet room. Both bedrooms ooze class and style, making them the ideal place to retire to at the end of the day.

Outside, you can spend time socialising on the terrace and enjoying a BBQ against the stunning backdrop or soaking in the hot tub where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty.

Situated on the south-west side of the Rosneath Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, the coastal village of Cove has convenient amenities such as a shop, tearoom and pub. Whether you’re into walking, cycling, water sports or fishing, there is a range of activities on offer, particularly at the holiday resort of Rosneath (6 miles).

Being in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is plenty of stunning scenery to explore on foot, by bike or by boat, with the choice of coastal, forest or countryside routes for all abilities. There are also other sports on offer such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing and climbing. If you’re a Munro-bagger, it’s worth the 23-mile journey to bag Beinn Ime to the north.

If you’re keen to visit the mainland to the south, you can catch the Kilcreggan Ferry between Kilcreggan and Gourock. Once a popular seaside resort for Glaswegians, Gourock has one of three open-air pools in Scotland. The town has a number of shops, eateries and landmarks such as Granny Kempock’s Stone, which is thought to bring good luck.

There are many lochs nearby, including Gare Loch and Loch Goil as well as the more famous Loch Lomond (19 miles). If you’re interested in wildlife, Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre is worth a visit (22 miles).

For those looking for something more cosmopolitan and are happy to travel, Glasgow is 47 miles away. A little closer, and slightly less cosmopolitan, but with plenty of shops and eateries is Helensburgh (16 miles).
