The grand arch entrance, thick castellated walls, original slate roof and arrow-slit windows add to the romance and give this house its quirky charm. The stylish kitchen is perfect for making family meals, with the double glass doors opening into a large sitting/dining room creating a wonderfully sociable space; gather everyone together for meals around a table seating up to eight. Afterwards, enjoy long evenings in front of the open fire. The ground floor also has French doors opening out onto the garden.
The first floor has three fantastic bedrooms, two with en-suite showers as well as a separate bathroom; the second floor has a further bedroom with an en-suite shower. All are beautifully presented with sumptuous mattresses and fine linen.
The absolute highlight of this property is undoubtedly the roof terrace, complete with table and benches with its fantastic views across farmland and over the Kilbrannan Sound towards the Kintyre Peninsula – a place of great beauty and tranquillity. As well as this, there is also a lovely garden at the rear with a picnic table and benches creating a perfect background for a summertime BBQ or some al fresco dining. Guests are welcome to enjoy the surrounding estate grounds and there is also private parking.
