Explore the picture-postcard village of St Fillans, cycle along the lochside, try your hand at trout fishing or take part in thrilling water sports on the loch before returning for a cosy night of films in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

 

Inside, this cosy cabin is warm and welcoming, with pine cladding throughout and plenty of homely touches. Rustle up romantic meals for two in the kitchen area, which contains everything you should need, before dining at the table beside the French doors nearby. After a long day of adventuring with your loved one, unwind on the inviting L-shaped sofa while catching up on your favourite programmes on the TV/DVD, or simply relax and admire the view. To the rear of the lodge is the comfortable double bedroom, complete with spectacular views and an en-suite shower room.

 

Stepping outside, the sheltered decked area is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine as the sun sets. After a busy day on foot, there’s no better way to soothe aching muscles than with a long, indulgent soak in the hot tub, which commands jaw-dropping views across the loch. This is also a fantastic location for stargazing, the perfect romantic activity. There is ample off-road parking next to the lodge.

Located in an elevated position above Loch Earn, this property boasts magnificent and far-reaching views across to the surrounding mountains. Nearby, the picturesque village of St Fillans (4 miles) is home to a good selection of amenities, including a well-stocked shop, array of eateries and a golf course, perfect for stocking up on supplies or enjoying a delicious meal out when you would rather not cook. Other nearby towns and villages include the pretty village of Comrie (9 miles), the foodie favourite of Crieff (15.5 miles) and the bustling tourist town of Callander (17.5 miles), all of which offer a greater selection of shops and eateries. Or, for even more amenities and a slice of cosmopolitan life, travel further afield to reach the bustling cities of Perth (33.5 miles), Stirling (33.5 miles) and Edinburgh (69 miles). Ideal for active types, the local area is rich in sporty pursuits, from Munro bagging to cycling, trout fishing and hiking. At 985 metres, Ben Vorlich to the south of the loch is a popular climbing spot for visitors, who are rewarded by breathtaking views from the top across the loch and the surrounding national park. Loch Earn also offers a range of water sports, including paddleboarding, kayaking, waterskiing and wakeboarding, perfect for thrill-seekers.

Great place, with great facilities, perfect for two. Lovely hot tub with loch view. Close to the local village shop, local walks in to the hills and a munro to climb all on your doorstep.

Milestone Cabin has an exceptional position overlooking Loch Earn, within walking distance of St Fillans, and with direct access to a network of walks around the Glentarken woods. It is fully equipped, and the hottub is well maintained and clean, and the view over the lake brings joy to the end of the day! Amazing location. The views were incredible no matter the weather it the privacy of the hottub was welcomed as me and my wife are both very self conscious. The property is well facilitated with those personal touches of freshly baked bread and fresh eggs. Amazing little cabin with fantastic views over Loch Earn, very private, everything you need is provided, iron, ironing board, we didn't need but for anyone that does need to use, little radiators that can be turned off as it gets quite warm in the cabin, all cleaning products, cooking equipment everything. Lovely cabin in a peaceful area with a beautiful outlook over the water. Owner left little luxuries like fresh eggs and bread and chilled prosecco. He was very helpful when i got a bit lost on the way. Very relaxing holiday!

The lodge is compact but just for 2 people its fine,extremely private,some road traffic noise if you are not used to it,the hot tub is very very nice,totally private with views across the loch which are beautiful
