As its name suggests, this modern home in the pretty coastal village of the Isle of Whithorn boasts fabulous sea views. Sleeping four, it has been lovingly refurbished to offer a sociable living space that opens onto an enclosed patio with charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining. Inside, the accommodation is homely and welcoming, decorated in calming neutral hues throughout. Large windows and doors let the outside in for those warmer summer months, while cosy, soft furnishings create a home-from-home feel in winter. Enter into a bright and sunny kitchen area, which is open plan to the lounge. Equipped with everything you will need for rustling up delicious family meals, the kitchen also offers ample surface and storage space. Once prepared, step through to the lounge/diner to enjoy meals with a sea view beside large patio doors, which create an al fresco feel when open. Afterwards, sink into the inviting sofa or armchair and catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV or simply relax with fellow guests and plan the following day’s adventures. Arranged on one level, the two tastefully decorated bedrooms share a chic, modern shower room, perfect for warming up after blustery walks.

Stepping outside, the small enclosed patio area is the perfect spot for summer meals with its charcoal BBQ and sea views. There is private parking for one car. Located directly on the coast, wonderful walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep.

The cottage is welcoming, warm and comfortable, in a lovely location much appreciated by ourselves and our dog. The community centre has a very good cafe and community shop and meals at the Steam Packet are first class. The Isle itself is full of interest and the surrounding countryside has much to offer.

Everything was clean and the cottage was fully equipped - one of the nicest holidays we have had. We highly recommend this cottage- the location has easy access to many other attractions.
