There was only one knife in the kitchen. The grill pan and frying pan were mouldy, the other pans were dirty and there was no washing up bowl or plug in the sink. Also, the oven was dirty. I rang the owner to report the knife situation and to ask for a washing up bowl / plug. None arrived which meant we couldnt eat in the property. This was a shameRead more as the rest of the house was lovely. Hide

I'm surprised that these things hadn't been identified by holidaycottages. Surely you visit a house before having it on your website.

This is a lovely cottage that has a great potential if owner invests more into the place. It is located near busy road. Couple that with old mattresses, we had trouble sleeping the whole week and didn't get any rest at all. Fireplace was nice but we ran out of firewood on first night. Location is very convenient and allows for easy access to plentyRead more of places. Amenities are great and a welcome pack was a nice touch. Unfortunately for the price we paid, we felt a little let down. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at no. 83. Loved the decor, easy parking, everything we needed. Was very relaxing. Location was excellent to visit places nearby also. Loved owning a log burner if only for a few days. Definitely recommend a stay here
