Nestled amid 10 acres of beautiful private woodland on a 500-acre working highland farm, this lodge is a walkers paradise, perfect for groups of friends and families and two canine chums. Bordered by the River Lochy and at the foot of the mighty Ben Nevis, find peace, tranquillity and an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep. With secure storage for your mountain bike, spend the days walking and cycling before returning to recharge the batteries with a glass of wine in front of the warming wood burner. Kids will love the mezzanine-level snug area where they can chill in their own space to watch TV or play board games.

A double-height apex roof with skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows complements warm wooden floors, panelling and cream walls, creating a contemporary and bright interior. The cleverly designed layout maximises the open-plan space, with cosy corners to hide in and great areas to gather together in comfort and style. This lodge is both stylish and extremely comfortable with underfloor heating throughout the whole ground floor.

Light and bright, the fantastic open-plan living space has magnificent mountain and forest views which can be enjoyed from the dining table and the comfortable sofas. Centred around the wonderful central wood burner, cosy nights in can be had from all areas of the room after a day out exploring. Elegant and considered furniture, tasteful artwork and patterned soft furnishings create a modish yet welcoming feel.

Retaining the same character, the four bedrooms are spacious and fresh with ample storage space and wonderful views, with simple, elegant bathrooms where a long soak can be enjoyed. One double has an en-suite, so there will be no need to queue for the shower. The spacious king-size bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the lounge area and wonderful views from the wall-to-wall windows, so you wake with the sunlight flooding in.

In a splendid peaceful setting, relaxing on the large patio in the garden is wonderful at any time of the day. In the morning, wake with a wander in the surrounding woodland, coffee in hand and pup at your feet; in the evening, dine alfresco as the kids play on the lawn, and as the night draws in, pour a wee dram and star gaze across the magnificent Nevis range. Ample off-road parking is available in front of the lodge, and the shops in Fort William are 3 miles away.

  • 4 Bedrooms – 1 king-size, 1 double and 2 twin (one is zip & link and can be super king-size bed on request)

Large spacious lodge, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably and amazing views of Ben Nevis! Very quiet and peaceful, just a shame there wasnt any paths so you could walk through the 10 acres of woodlands and see the Highland cows

Nevis lodge is a wonderful , spacious wooden property ideal for a family get together like we had (5 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs). The location is fantastic with lovely views of the forest regeneration on the farm and Ben Nevis beyond through the massive glass windows in the lounge / kitchen space. As Bethany states in her review in October 23 the propeRead morerty could do with a bit of maintenance and updating which would make the experience even better. A beautiful Lodge in a stunning location with breathtaking views towards Ben Nevis. It was perfect for our Family including two Dogs, who loved the location & layout of the Lodge. We would all love to return one day, maybe in the Summer months to explore the area further. Hide

Our stay was wonderful. Certain areas of cleanliness require more thorough attention but immediate amenities such as bedding, towels, living space and dining room were spotless. The location is marvellous. Beware if you have dogs though as there is a random yet placid golden retriever that roams the grounds. M&S is around the corner and views to BeRead moren Nevis are breathtaking. As a hiking group staying for Ben Nevis or a family get away - this fulfills the idealistic solitude you desire. Hide
