Located on the Fife Coastal Path, and surrounded by rolling green fields, outdoor enthusiasts can discover pebbled seashores and miles of sandy beaches along the coast from this property. Perfect for a small family or a couple, this period cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms. Return after a windswept day for a cosy evening on the sofa resting your weary limbs in front of the crackling wood burner.

Light, bright and spacious throughout, this charming property is all on one level. Contemporary country house styling, warm wooden floors and quirky wallpaper throughout complement elegant furnishings and quirky touches creating a welcoming home. From the lounge, double doors to the sunroom allow light to flood in, and a stable door allows fresh air to drift through the kitchen, bringing the outside in.

From the pretty front garden, step into the hall and discard your outdoor clothing before heading through to the lounge. Kick back and relax on the comfortable sofas, lighting the wood burner to create a cosy ambience on chilly nights. Gather in the conservatory for all the sun but none of the chill to enjoy a board game together, or simply settle with a good book. Cook a delicious meal in the stylish kitchen and gather everyone together to dine at the table before retiring for the night. With two spacious and elegant super-king-size bedrooms that can be made into twins on request, enjoy a tranquil night’s sleep, arising refreshed to take your morning coffee in the garden listening to the birdsong as the countryside awakens with the rising sun.

Outside, children can play safely on the lawn while you dine alfresco as the garden is completely enclosed with hedges and fencing around the perimeter. Flowerbeds and small trees are a lovely backdrop for some birdwatching and, as the night draws in, enjoy a lazy evening stargazing with a glass of wine, or perhaps a dram or two. The property is lovely and the owners have done a great job of providing everything that guests could want. Enjoying the view from the conservatory whilst enjoying a morning coffee (or an evening sundowner) was priceless! The property was a great location for us to visit numerous attractions in the area.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. We had a very busy time visiting many local and further-afield places. We caught the train from Leuchars to Edinburgh and Dundee and were amazed at the cheap parking, just 1 per day! St Andrews and the coastal fishing villages were well worth a visit, as were the stunning Kelpies.
