The city is home to landmarks and attractions including Inverness Castle, St Andrew’s Cathedral, the Botanic Gardens, the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, and the Hall of Names.

In the delightful village of Drumnadrochit (15.5 miles), you can explore the legends of the loch’s most mysterious resident at the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition. Also nearby are Urquhart Castle (17.5 miles), the Glen Ord Distillery (2.5 miles), Rogie Falls (10.5 miles) and the RSPB’s Tollie Red Kites Nature Reserve (10 miles).

Bill was so helpful, although even he couldn't organise the weather! This is a charming, peaceful cottage and just what we were after. We would be happy to return to it again. The cottage is well equipped with a lovely wood-burning stove. Comfortable furniture and a well provided kitchen. Many thanks.
