Tastefully decorated throughout, this charming property features a pair of cosy wood burners for you to relax in front of at the end of a fabulous day. The property is smartly furnished, with original features dotted about. From the windows and the garden, you can take in the awe-inspiring surroundings of this spellbinding island.

Stepping into this lovely holiday home, the porch is a handy spot to leave boots and shoes before heading into the spacious kitchen/diner. Perfect for rustling up all your favourite meals, the kitchen has a wide variety of useful equipment along with a Smart TV and wood burner. The dining area has plenty of space, with French doors leading out to the garden. In the evenings you can snuggle up in front of the wood burner in the pretty lounge and watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV. The ground floor also features a stylish family shower room.

Upstairs, there are three light and peaceful bedrooms to choose between: a double, a single, and a family room with a double and a single bed.

Heading outside, the porch makes a pleasant spot for sitting down and catching up with a book. The garden features a delightful lawn surrounded by shrubs and palm trees, and provides a lovely space for children to play as you admire the breathtaking scenery.

The bustling village of Lamlash (1 mile) offers some friendly places to eat and drink and makes a great base for exploring the Isle of Arran. Lamlash is also home to a golf course, the COAST Discovery Centre and a beautiful beach. The village also offers plenty of opportunities for activities including tennis, sailing and diving.

From Lamlash you can catch a ferry over to the tranquil Holy Isle. Heading north, the main port on the island is Brodick (4.5 miles), a thriving village with great shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a golf course, bowling and putting greens, swimming pools and a sandy beach. Whiting Bay (6 miles) also has a golf course and is a great base for cyclists exploring the island.

Walkers can head inland to find the ancient Dyemill woodlands (2.5 miles), with Glenashdale Burn, Eas a’Chrannaig and the Neolithic Giants’ Graves to the south (all within 7 miles). Other attractions include the historic Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park, the Arran Heritage Museum, Blue Pool – Glen Rosa, the dramatic northern peak of Goatfell (all within 10 miles) and the Lochranza Distillery (17.5 miles).

A number of Neolithic stone circles are dotted across the island, the best known of which can be seen on Machrie Moor (15.5 miles). The island also has populations of deer, otters and red squirrels, and there’s plenty of birdlife including golden eagles, ospreys, peregrines, kestrels and buzzards. Out to sea, you can spot basking sharks, porpoises, common seals and grey seals.

Fantastic house, really well equipped kitchen. Lovely warm house with amazing view of Holy Isle. Went in the week everything goes from summer to winter hours - did manage to see the castle but bear in mind if you go at the end of Oct.

Perfect cottage. Was there with my mother and 2 children and all were delighted with it. Stylish, comfy with a perfect view and the drift inn for dinners just 20 mins walk. Thank you to the owners for a perfect stay.

Couldnt fault Prospect Hill House, beautiful location, very well-equipped, comfortable house both inside and out, would happily return. We were blessed with amazing weather but it imagine it would equally be a great base in the cooler months.

Fantastic views in a quiet and private location. House is a lovely place to stay and a half hour stroll from the pubs and restaurants of Lamlash. Beach is a 5min walk in either direction. Cant fault this property. 5 stars.

Great accommodation. Very close to the ferry terminal and facilities. Probably be useful for anyone with a dog to be aware that whilst the garden isnt enclosed it is at the end of a very quiet track.

Good location with great views and a well equipped house. Just be aware of angled ceilings upstairs as I think everyone managed to bang their heads at least once, Kitchen area is fab for spending time with family and playing games, eating. Living room is cosy but a couple of the armchairs a bit squeaky. Access to Netflix was a bonus but wi-fi can dRead morerop out occassionally mid movie. Hide

Prospect Hill House has everything you need and has a beautiful garden with amazing views over the bay and Holy Isle - and we had a red squirrel in the garden . It is a short walk to all the facilities in Lamlash Bay, watching the seals basking on the rocks as you go (The Drift Inn is definitely the best place to eat). My family had a wonderful stay at ProspectHill House. The view from the house was absolutely stunning and was situated in a perfect location within a short walk from the Drift Inn and the pier, which were two important focal points of the holiday! We had a wonderful stay at Prospecthill House. The accommodation was spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped. We ate in a good few nights making good use of the spacious dining table and to be honest were loath to leave the lovely house. The views from the property are outstanding and we really enjoyed sitting outside admiring the view of the Read moreHoly Isle. Location was ideal for discovering the island. Fantastic view of the holy island which was stunning to wake up to each morning. House was clean and well equipped. Impressed with the drift Inn in Lamlash and then the little rock cafe in Broddick

This was a beautiful, spacious and comfortable cottage. The views from all windows were superb. We enjoyed being able to walk into Lamlash for a drink or a meal and yet still feel secluded. I would happily recommend this cottage .
