The Isle of Arran is a special and unique place with a rugged mountainous heart and an undulating coastline lined with pretty harbour villages and bustling market towns. Conveniently located on the edge of Brodick, the town’s sandy beach and thriving centre are less than a mile from your door.

The village boasts plenty of restaurants, charming tearooms and gift shops, as well as convenience stores for stocking up and cooking at home. Treat yourself to a pamper at the luxury spa, or head to the nearby golf course for a game to remember in this spectacular setting. Alternatively, visit the historic Brodick Castle and its beautiful gardens.

Arran is only 20 miles long by 10 miles wide yet somehow manages to pack in a huge variation in landscape. From windswept mountain peaks to beautiful beaches and rambling forests, the island is a walker’s paradise, and you don't have to travel far to join some fantastic footpaths. Try hiking up Goatfell, 4.5 miles away, or travel 8 miles across the island to see the Machrie Standing Stones. For an expedition to encircle the entire island, the Arran Coastal Way is a 65-mile seaside hiking trail passing beautiful beaches, mysterious caves, dramatic boulder fields and ancient stone circles.
